Get More Hits To Your Blog

Category: my blog — Tags: , , – admin @ 3:03 am

Blogging has become one of the fastest growing phenomena on the internet today. If you are a blogger like I am, you have found blogs to be fun, exciting and very interesting. Blogging is the best way to get your thoughts out to the world, and an even better way to attract people who have similar interests as you do. I personally have become almost addicted to blogging and have discovered some pretty cool topics that people like me are talking about. However, as a fellow blogger yourself, I’m sure you have been wondering to get more hits to your blog. I have been plagued with the same problem for years until recently where I have discovered some great methods attracting new readers everyday.

Whether you are writing a personal blog or a news blog, you want people to hear what you have to say. The more traffic to your blog, the more important your topics become. I have had several blogs start out as personal diaries, and end up becoming money generating powerhouses without much effort at all. Celebrities have even jumped onto the blogging bandwagon because they realize how beneficial blogging really is. But celebrities don’t usually have to worry about having to get more traffic to their blog. They are usually in the media every day. However, most people aren’t as fortunate and a lot of the time struggle to get a handful of readers. But I have found the way, and can teach you how to get more traffic to your blog without having to have your face in the news everyday.

When I started blogging, I discovered the plethora of blogging directories on the internet. There are thousands of directories out there that will let you submit your blog for free, and most of the time all you have to do is throw a small link on your blog. Over time, I have realized that if you really want to get traffic to your blog, you can’t rely on directories alone. Directories will bring you a handful of hits, but this is usually based on the quantity and quality of incoming links and posts. What you need is a way to accelerate your traffic quickly.

One great method to get more hits to your blog I have discovered recently is using social groups such as MySpace. This allows you to promote your blog to other people with similar interests as you. But this usually requires you to add friends and send comments and messages which can be tedious. It was soon after utilizing MySpace that I discovered MySpace friend adding programs such as FriendAdder. Programs like these have taken my blogs to the next level. Friend adding programs allow you to add 500 new friends every day in MySpace and even automatically send comments, messages, and bulletins to people YOU choose without the legwork. After using programs like these for a week, I gained over 1000 hits per day to my blog. Now I get comments and messages back every day about my posts that give me so much more interesting content.

Another great reason to get more hits to your blog is the cash it can bring in. You can even get paid to blog. Several sites allow you to add Google Adsense to any blog you make. Readers come to your blog and see ads that are contextually linked to your subject matter. When they click these links, you get paid. I am even making over $100 a day on one of my blogs. All from promoting it with a friend adding program on MySapce.

So do yourself a favor. If you are a blogger like me, or have an interested in creating a blog to get some information out to the world, use some of these methods to get more hits to your blog. You can start making friends and even money in no time.

Why Relationships Fail

Category: fail blog — Tags: , , – admin @ 10:31 pm

Men and women tend to function from two completely different directions when it comes to how they behave in a relationship. This behavior is most prominent in regard to how they communicate and their levels of understanding.

According to studies written by relationship counselors, communication is responsible for more than half of the failed relationships that have been observed and documented.

This is not news to anyone who has experienced a relationship that has lasted more than 30 days. What may be interesting is the variety of issues that cause relationships to fail.

I’ve been on both sides of a broken relationship over my years of living and working as a counselor. Once as a child of a functioning but broken home and once as the spouse who left the relationship.

What I learned from each perspective I have written into a battery of counseling tips and conversations that serve to support couples. The saying, “Knowledge is power,” rings true when it comes to relationship rescue. If you have 5 minutes to spare to focus on your relationship skills, you can learn to make your relationship lighter. By lighter I mean, the heaviness that many relationships carry is based on baggage being carried by the partners. Most often the partners carry this baggage silently.

The primary issue that impacts the relationship is not the baggage or the presenting issues that cause or contribute to the failure of the relationship. What tends to feed the decline is the silent suffering combined with a subconscious belief that the other partner should be aware of this baggage, even though neither of them has given anything more than a hint of what is being carried.

Making your relationship lighter may be an alien term or merely a distracting thought with a funny name. Take 5 minutes to open your mind to some new possibilities that may be hidden in your relationship.

John Maxwell, author of “Relationships 101,” says, “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” When it comes to relationships, most often the male and the female partner fail to communicate this fundamental message.

Looking deeper into ways of strengthening your relationship beyond the physical level of living together, means each partner must be deeply committed to the other partner. This includes taking the risk of assuming the other partner is carrying baggage silently.

This is not a license to pry or aggressively intrude into the other partner’s privacy, because privacy is always vital in a relationship. Communication is not expecting your partner to disclose every details of their day. Communication travels to emotional locations untouched by words alone.

What helps to understand the balance that is needed begins by looking into the mirror and searching for a way of getting a handle on one’s own baggage. It often occurs in the partnering of individuals that while opposites attract, these opposites also share experiences.

It is documented that children who grown up in a home where a spouse has been abused will mostly find themselves in an abusive relationship as adults. Recognizing the reality of the presence of this baggage in one’s self forms the basis of the subconscious desire for the other partner’s understanding in the form of silent knowing.

Additionally, this type of baggage also provides a basis for deeper understanding of the partner’s own behavior as well as any communicational barriers that have been observed to exist.

The healing and preventative process must begin with a message and an understanding that baggage, both known and unknown, exists in the relationship. Both partners must also recognize that communication is a major player in both the success of their relationship, while lack of communication can be the primary reason for any potential for the failure of the relationship.

“Relationships of trust depend on our willingness to look not only to our own interests, but also the interest of others.”

WordPress Or Blogspot? Find Out Which One to Choose!

Category: blogspot — Tags: , , – admin @ 2:31 pm

So you have decided to begin blogging but are uncertain which blog platform would be the best for you? In this article I’m going to explain which of the two can be the best solution for your needs, be it WordPress or Blogspot.

Nowadays the most used is WordPress, but that’s all depends on the point of view since there are thousands of new bloggers choosing Blogspot over WordPress simply because Blogspot is free and more customizable than the free version of WordPress.

Even thus WordPress.com offers you some themes that you can use there isn’t much you can do to personalize it or use a theme you found online on your blog, since they do not allow you to upload themes nor plugins, so that’s why Blogspot win the heart of new bloggers because you can easily find a theme online or design your own (if you have the coding/web-design skills) and use it freely!

Now if you want to be serious on blogging you must have in mind the long run, and in this case it would be better if you sign up with a hosting provider and get a domain name for your blog since it would look more professional. Not that free blogs are unprofessional since what makes a blog it’s its author and not the layout our if it is free or whatnot. But on my own experience I have found out that if you have your own domain you have more respect and of course more control over your website since you can upload themes, plugins and you don’t take the chance of having your blog shut down out of the blue as it happens with the free services!

If you are just willing to have a “hobby blog” just to post your thoughts or to be in touch with your friends/colleagues than you would feel better by choosing Blogspot instead of WordPress, since it is really simple and doesn’t require too much work to set up. You only have to have a Google Account and to choose the title and URL of your new blog, after that, all you have to do is begin to share your thoughts!

For serious blogging you would be better with the WordPress since it would give you total control over your blog and therefore you could and should personalize it the way you want with tons of plugins and free themes available on the world wide web!

As I said on the beginning of this article, the choice within WordPress or Blogspot it’s just a matter of what you need, if you want prestige and respect online go with WordPress on your own hosting account.
