Of all of the dozens of reasons that most marriages fail what do you think is number one? Many of you are probably thinking cheating and/or physical abuse. Some may think the number one reason is financial difficulties. Others may chalk it up to inexperience. These are certainly valid reasons why most marriages fail. But what underlying thing do all of these areas have in common? The answer is poor communication.
If more couples could enhance their communication skills with each other then they would be able to work on their relationship problems in a much more conducive way. This would ultimately result in improved problem solving skills and a happier, healthier relationship.
When a couple ceases to communicate or never really developed good communication with each other then the small issues that arise on a day to day basis will likely go unresolved. Over time these will snowball and become larger issues causing greater stress and strain in the relationship. They can develop to the point where the issues seem too large to resolve and the marriage falls apart.
Proper communication also allows growth between two people in a relationship. It is through communication that we can express our dreams, hopes, concerns, fears and desires. we can communicate these things to our partners which can develop a stronger bond between a couple. Without this opportunity to share with each other then the marriage will likely grow stale and boring.
Another important aspect of communication is that it helps us resolve arguements and our differences. If we cannot effectively communicate then our partners will never know our point of view and vice versa. This will lead to a lack of understanding which will drive a wedge between two people.
So of all the many reasons why most marriages fail the crux of most problems comes down to poor communication. If you are having communication troubles with your spouse the fastest and simplest way to overcome them is simply start talking. It doesn’t have to be a problem. Talk about anything and see where it leads.
The Number One Reason Why Most Marriages Fail
Blogs – Search Engines Supposedly Love Them But People, It Seems, Do NOT!
I have read, ad-nauseum that search engines absolutely LOVE blogs. Blogs, of course, are web-logs.
For those who may be unsure, a “blog” is when somebody sets up a journal or diary on matters that interest them. An therein lies the key.
I have read many blogs, hundreds of them, in fact, during some general web surfing that I do from time to time and I have to say that, almost without exception, most blogs that I have read are DEAD-SET boring! They are full of meaningless twaddle.
Even the so-called masters of internet marketing who write regular blogs often struggle to come up with interesting material.
Now, I did say above that “almost” every blog is dead-set boring. Some are mildly interesting. Some contain a bit of humor. Some contain a modicum of useful information. Some have visitors who make intelligent remarks. And some, very few, have a combination of all of the above. Most, however, do not. They are simply – BORING.
To test my assertion that people do not like blogs just look at the complete lack of comments that people OTHER than the blog owners themselves make. Most often you will see a series of entries and a series of 0, 0, 0 ,0, 0 and 0 in the comments areas.
The only exceptions to this seem to be where there are a large number of people in a “community” who discuss points of interest related to a particular subject.
But if you are Joe or Josephine Citizen trying to write an online journal – FORGET IT! All you will be doing is hanging your washing out to dry. People will not be interested in your musings and ramblings.
Maybe search engines do love blogs but the evidence suggests that people find most of them boring.
How to Blog Regularly
Most people do not succeed at blogging simply because they fail to blog regularly. They are persistent for a number of weeks or so and then they stop. Then several months down the road they decide to make another blog entry, and wonder why they are not getting any traffic or making any money.
If you want to be successful at blogging, then you need to learn how to blog regularly. You may have the best of intentions, but then one day you may have an emergency where you cannot update your blog for a week or so; and this is all it takes for your blog to drop in the search engines. And you need to avoid this at all costs.
One way that you can avoid this is to blog well in advance. The other way is to have someone else write for you and update your blog when you are unable to do so. You can get someone you know to do it for free, or you can hire a writer online by going to elance, odesk, or guru, and you will find lots of experienced writers.
Most of these writers are willing to write short articles for you at reasonable prices, and you can even get them to upload the articles, as well as market them for you. But this may not be the ideal option for most bloggers who take pride in their work. So your best option is to blog well in advance and schedule your posts to go live at certain times in the future. Most blogging platforms allow you to do this, and I highly recommend that you take advantage of it.
A good way to save time is to write all your blog posts in batches of five to ten. These articles could be around the same topic or different topics. When writing these blog posts in advance you have the opportunity to allow them to sit for a few days before you edit them again. This really helps you to look at each article from a new perspective, and thus it allows you to add more information, rewrite your sentences, as well as fix any spelling mistakes. This also allows you to schedule your blog posts in batches which will save you even more time.
You will be surprised at how easy it is to blog regularly once you learn how to blog in advance. You will never have to worry about not being able to come up with content, nor will you have to worry about your blog dropping in the search engines, and in the end, you will succeed.
