Part 1 – Introduction of How To Make Money With Blogger and AdSense

Blogger is a free, blog creation and hosting software owned by Google. Google also owns AdSense. After Google purchased Blogger, they decided to set it up for easy access with AdSense. AdSense is a website that pays website owners to show ads on their site. The publishers are paid per click. Clicks can range from $0.05 to $50!

Part 2 – Requirements of Making Money With Blogger and AdSense

With Blogger and AdSense costing nothing to startup, there is almost no requirements. However, there are bonuses for such things such as SEO work such as getting backlinks and buying content. I will discuss this throughout the article.

Part 3 – Setup of Blogger and AdSense

Head over to blogger.com and register an account and create a blog. Next, thing of a topic, it must be based all around it. You need a main keyword of that topic. So for example if I was going to talk about console gaming on my blog, I would use a main keyword like “Xbox live 12 month gold membership” or something that is long (3-5 words) and is a common search. So start writing posts about your keyword. You should mention your keyword once in every 3 sentences, this will help us later on.

Part 4 – Advertising Your Blogger Blog

Now, we don’t want to spend any money right now. So the cheapest way to gain traffic is, Google! Google offers free traffic if you rank high in their search engine. They will rank website high if they have the fallowing things:

-backlinks
-quality, and unique content
-keyword density (your main phrase is mentioned every 3 sentences like I said)

If you have all that, you will start getting plenty of website views!

Part 5 – Adding AdSense To Your Blog

This is very easy. The same place you posted your content, there should be a “Layout” tab. Just go there and then it shows your blog layout. Click edit on the box where you want the ad to appear. Then just check the box for AdSense and fill out the options. It is self explanatory there.

Free HTML Blog Templates – Are They Worth It?

Category: free blog — Tags: , , – admin @ 9:09 pm

Free HTML blog templates are available at an instant with a quick Google search and seeing as blogging is becoming a hugely popular online past-time I’ve decided to question whether these free templates are something that is worth trying to find, particularly given the choice and time it takes to find a theme that is exactly suiting your blog’s subject and purpose.

One of my first misgivings about free HTML blog templates is that they are programmed in HTML. For most blogging platforms, this isn’t going to be a dynamic enough template to cope with the demands of plugins and widgets and constant updating. It is much preferable to use php template in the first place and then, to use a template that is custom designed for the blogging platform that you are using (eg WordPress or Blogger or otherwise).

Blogging has become pretty high tech in a lot of ways. It’s still simple to write and update a regular blog, particularly for people who are just writing them for the use of their immediate family and friends. But commercial blogs are required to cope with high amounts of traffic and multiple purposes. These could include generating leads, supporting advertising banners or AdSense code and displaying photos and videos. HTML might just not be able to cope with these high stress demands over time.

Having said that free HTML blog templates are probably not a good way to go, I just want to say that doesn’t mean that free templates aren’t any good. Quite the contrary. I have several high traffic blogs in different niches and use free templates for all of them. In particular, open source templates are very good by virtue of the fact that they are being used and developed constantly and often have good support and tutorials available for customization and adding plugins and widgets as required.

Getting on the blogging train has never been easier and has become a profitable way for many webmasters and average Joes/Janes to make money online. I’d just avoid free HTML blog templates and stick with php templates designed for your platform – or just go with a free blog for convenience if making money isn’t your primary concern. These are easy to make pretty and to manage and update and provide a lot of fun.

Old Fashion Recipes for Never Fail Cake and German Apple Cake

Category: fail blog — Tags: , , – admin @ 8:11 pm

These cake recipes will take you back to the days when mom and/or grandma baked delicious desserts just for you.  Perhaps the ‘never-fail cake’ will remind you of a birthday cake she made for one of your early birthdays.  Or a delicious piece of white cake topped with fresh fruits or berries from your backyard garden or orchard could be a favorite memory.  Perhaps the apple cake will remind you of picking apples in the fall and coming in from the cold to the scents of apple desserts coming from grandma’s kitchen.  One of the best things about vintage recipes is the memories they bring to mind.  Of course the tastes are special, too!  Get the kids in the kitchen and let them bake up some memories of their own with you.  While working together, you can share some of your poignant memories with them.  It’s a great thing to pass family stories down to your children or grandchildren.

OLD FASHION NEVER FAIL CAKE

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter or lard

1 egg

3 tbsp cocoa

3/4 cup sweet milk*

1/2 cup boiling water

1 tsp soda

1 rounding cup flour

1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream sugar and butter, add unbeaten egg and beat. Add cocoa to egg mixture, blend well. Add flour and milk alternately. Last add hot water with soda dissolved in it. (Batter will be thin.) Pour into a 9×13-inch prepared baking pan. Bake 35 to 40minutes at 350 degrees. Frost with your favorite frosting.

*This is regular milk; not sweetened condensed milk. The old-timers referred to regular milk as sweet milk vs buttermilk.

GERMAN APPLE CAKE

This recipe is said to be from an old church cookbook. I have no way to trace its origins.

2 large or 3 small eggs

1 cup salad oil (butter flavored)

2 cups sugar

1 tsp vanilla

2 tsp cinnamon

2 cups sifted flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

4 cups thinly sliced apples

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Beat eggs well, then add oil. Continue to beat while adding 2 cups sugar. Add vanilla and the sifted dry ingredients, mix well. Add the thinly sliced apples and walnuts. Pour into a 9×13-inch baking pan that has been greased and lightly floured. Bake 40 to 60 minutes until done.

ICING:

2 small packages of cream cheese

2 tbsp melted butter

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup powdered sugar.

Mix all ingredients well with an electric mixer. If too thin, add powdered sugar until of the right consistency to spread. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts, if desired.

Enjoy!
