Lead generation pages can be tricky to create. Being an internet marketer I have felt on my own skin what it takes to create a highly effective converting capture page from scratch. That is exactly why now I use a system which is generating those pages for me and saves me tons of time. However, if you want to create a good, high converting lead capture page on your own, here are some of the things you will have to get in place before you can start driving traffic to that page.
1. Title or Headline. One of the most important aspects of a highly converting lead capture page is the headline. This is the first thing your visitors are going to see and in most cases it will define whether they are going to continue reading or just close the browser tab. What makes a good headline is the color, the length, structure and of course the content. There are plenty of copywriting books and materials for you to get more information on how to write an effective title. Some of my favorites are Dan Kennedy, Eben Pegan and Bill Glazer.
2. Structure of the page. The content on the lead capture page is supposed to be right down in the middle. The page itself can not be more then 400-500 pixels wide because otherwise it will hard for the visitors to actually read through the content. If you look at some of the best converting capture pages than you will find out that none of them ever have gone full width.
3. Video. Many times I get asked by my clients if they should use a video. I say you should, but in a very specific way. While most of the information should be written, it is a nice touch to insert the video introducing the product and actually talking about the benefits. That way people can connect to the human side of your page-you. They will hear a voice speaking and many times it can be a pattern break which will lead them to the sale.
There you go, you have 3 great strategies to capitalize on your next lead generation page creation process. However, as I mentioned earlier-there are tools for you to use in order to save yourself a lot of time and money. The time you will have to spend creating the capture page can be spent on learning some new material on how to drive traffic or how to create more profitable products for your customers. Remember that your business is based on your customers needs and that is another thing to consider when you are creating a lead generation page.

Four Steps to Create a Blog
Designing and installing blogs is easy if you follow the four steps to create a blog below.
The net is so huge already but it still has room for more blogs, more websites and more advertisers, so if you want to share your pastimes and make a bit of money promoting affiliate products, then blogging is for you.
When you have created your blog, you can post articles and messages, videos and photographs and contact friends as well as displaying advertisements to earn some money.
However, I’m running ahead here because first you need to follow these four steps to create a blog.
Step one: Find a blog hosting account
If you don’t already have your own web hosting service, then you need to find a place to publish your blog so that it will be accessible to web surfers.
There are plenty of blogging companies out there which offer unpaid services but these will have slightly limited features compared with a paid service. Even So, if you don’t need anything too elaborate, a free service will be sufficient; just type “free blogging services” and “free blogging software” into Google search, for a list.
Step two: Personalise your blog
Many of the blog software packages have free features which enable you to personalise your blog and really make it your own as well as adding functionality.
Change the template. Find a template which you like and which fits with your subject. Generally, a template will give you a choice of arrangement and colour scheme. If you are familiar with html, then you will be able to change the code of these yourself. There are plenty of places which offer free templates on the internet; for example:
BlogSkins – Templates from BlogSkins are useable with blogging services such as Blogger and MovableType software.
Blog Fashions allow you to copy or alter their featured templates but they are only useable with Movable Type software.
Blogmaker offers a huge number of templates to choose from as well as tools which will make blogging easy.
Use tagboards. Tagboards, like templates use html code but tagboards allow instant comments and messages. Again, do a Google search for “tagboards”.
Add games or animations to make your blog a fun place to be. These will give your blog a sense of dynamism and liveliness and they can be found by searching for “animations”.
Step Three: Add your own bits and pieces
There are lots of extra bits and pieces that you can add such as a Blogroll (list of links), Tweet My Blog, other social bookmarking services, Amazon and AdSense, to name but a few.
Step Four: Add content
You can add other people’s content if you want, particularly if you use Firepow blogging software which incorporates a neat tool to collect relevant content. However, your own unique content is likely to attract more visitors.
If you follow these four steps to create a blog, your own will be published in no time.
You Personal Online Diary – The Blog Myspace
If you like to blog MySpace is definitely the place for you then. With nearly over forty million members worldwide, it’s not being too simple to say that you will have a vast audience to entertain and communicate with through your informative blog. A “BlogG” by the way, for those of you who don’t know it, is the shortened form for web logging. (Get it weB LOGging!)
The first thing that you need to do therefore to be able to blog to your hearts content is to sign up for a MySpace account. It’s free so there’s not going to be any monthly charges or anything like that, and it’s relatively easy to navigate through the needs and requirements of the MySpace pages.
One you have set up your MySpace pages satisfactorily (i.e. changed and updated or edited your profile, changed and customized the background and the graphics, added photographs and videos etc.), you can then proceed to the fun part of creating your very own personal blog MySpace provides you the facilities for.
It also provides you with the ability to have a blogging group in which people whom you invite or who find your blog interesting can come along and read your blogs and comment on them. And if you’re really into blogging and you have a way with words which will draw a person into your blog MySpace members will be flocking to your pages and you might find your group of friends on MySpace expanding.
Having a blog also gives you the ability to put your artistic talents to the fore as you can even write small novellas if you want, which you can then blog about in another post with your particular group of blog MySpace friends!
Or you could just use your blog MySpace provides, to take people through an animated discourse about your day, and your life in general. If however you want people to keep coming back to it, you will want to make it interesting to other people, if not informative. Creating a blog just to blow steam off at the end of the day, or to snipe and gripe about your boss and your coworkers just won’t cut it.
You will find that you have more adverse comments about your blog, than good comments. You will also find that word spreads and a lot of people will boycott your blogs. Another thing that you should also be aware of, is that with such a large amount of people on the MySpace pages, that you might bump into your coworkers or even your boss.
